Pandoy sharpens, polishes, and restores Filipino blades using a mix of modern and traditional methods. He has worked as a counselor, barista, and English tutor; and is a student of various schools of swordsmanship; as well as a beginner in Zen, bushcraft, and permaculture; all of which he hopes to integrate into an ethos of the Filipino bolo which will be responsive to the "new normal" of the 21st century.
